I had to read this more slowly than I normally do, to allow me space to understand and absorb the messages and my reactions to them.
Great use of stories to illustrate the expression of energies in the adventures we call life! For me, it is an expansion of the Celestine Prophecy's "control dramas".
If you're interested in further understanding your Hero's (or Heroine's Journey) you will find this thought provoking as well as engaging.
I love Molly's books! I have read everything she has published. I love this book because it is broken down into relatable, easily digestible, and inspiring stories that pack a powerful karmic punch! I felt like throughout the book I was walking the journey with the main character. It helped me look within and see what parts were mirrored in myself that I could work on. This book at its core is inspiring and something every woman should read to help you walk more fully in your light and femininity!
I found Molly's third book in this series to be right on when it comes to the growth awakened people face these days. There is something here for everyone to open your eyes to why you face the things you do and will be especially helpful in understanding what the ladies you love are facing in awakening to their own truth and power. If you truly want to understand and encourage women to own their own truth and grow past the problems they face knowing all their lessons are perfect for where they are at, then I suggest you read this book. Molly gives you the journey through stories and then speaks in plain English the truth of those journeys, so if this doesn't help you to see the truth around you, I don't know what will.
It is a wonderful piece, full of observations of others that I resonate with and identify in myself. I really appreciate the weaving of spiritual lessons with karmic lives in the short stories as 'case studies' of the energetic dynamics that were further explained in depth. Usually with a book like this, I like to read it, put it down, digest it, then read until the next lesson strikes me. But I felt compelled to read it straight through, with tiny enlightenments hitting my head on the way.
This book is a wealth of personal spiritual development, and it comes from a place of already appreciating the imperfection. I love spiritual books, but this one strongly adheres to encouraging me to feel free in taking the time I need to develop slowly. Deep transformation doesn't have to happen quickly and surgically, it can be digested slowly and peacefully.
It helped me get more in touch with my spiritual self, while at the same time enabled me to digest the character stories slowly. I know I'm going to read this book about four more times, and I know I will feel the integration of these lessons for at least another 6-8 years. Thank you Molly!
In the third book of her "The Awakening Consciousness Series," Molly McCord not only continues and expands the spiritual teachings of her previous books, she also offers an invitation to all to raise their consciousness and open to their individual soul's story.
Traversing time and space, she relates seven individual stories that provide examples of the individual characters' opportunities for soul growth. Following each story are explanations of specific spiritual principles and ways to apply them to our personal experiences, encouraging greater understanding of our own soul growth.
Particularly exciting was the story of the sparks of the bonfire where we learn how each of us participates with others on numerous levels and varying times and how we can come together to honor the completion of specific cycles to energetically open new pathways.
Molly reminds us that many of us have "volunteered to awaken ourselves by activating higher levels of consciousness" and that by understanding our own soul story, we open "doorways for others" and "create gateways of higher knowledge for All."
This book is a call to totally love and accept yourself and to take action to participate in spiritual evolution.

Makes you feel as though you may be alright in this world that is constantly testing you. You can positively transcend the tests and see them for a higher good and love for yourself.
